The face behind the camera:

Hey there, it's great to meet you! I'm Jessica McCollam, the talented photographer behind Jessica's Visions Photography. I call Whitefish, Montana, my home, just a stone's throw away from the breathtaking Glacier National Park. In addition to my passion for photography, I bring a wealth of experience and education in web technology and graphic design. I also proudly serve as a Marketing Manager for a local real estate company, where I leverage my skills to create effective marketing strategies. When I'm not working, you'll find me fully immersed in the adventurous land of Montana, always with my camera ready to capture every moment. This area's great outdoors and recreational lifestyle serve as constant inspiration for my photography work, allowing me to showcase the remarkable beauty surrounding us.

My journey

My journey to becoming a portrait and wedding photographer began as early as I can remember. I have known since early childhood that I have had a passion for photos. This passion became more evident when I got my first camera at 10 years old; my love began to grow. I remember being mesmerized by the camera and how it works, who invented it, etc. Before I got my first “real” professional camera, I remember seeing things in my mind that I thought would produce a great photo. These little visions inspired me to want to get out and try to create them! After finally getting a camera, I diligently studied, researched, and practiced relentlessly. Thousands of photos and countless hours of trial and error were dedicated to the craft until I felt confident to begin capturing those once-in-a-lifetime moments of being a professional wedding photographer.

My favorite photographs

Collect moments, not things. This quote is one quote that truly resonates with me. The best part of what I do is help my clients collect some of these moments. My favorite photos from a session will always be the ones that show the family connections. A mother with her children, a father interacting with his son or daughter, two lovers beaming, seeing new parents so full of love and awe with their precious little bundle of joy. Life can be so beautiful – and I am so blessed to capture all the best memories for you, my clients.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and peek around at my work today! If you’d like to book a photo session with me, please email, call, or message me from my contact page.
